When watermelon season is in full force, try this smooth, cold gin cocktail. With each sip you’ll get a salty and spicy accent with your sweet watermelon. Add some tropical color to the rim of your glass with a cube of ice cold watermelon. This drink will feel like the best summer memories of watermelon on the porch.
Ingredients
- 1 oz. Bristow Gin
- 1 oz. Watermelon Juice*
- 1/2 oz. St. Germain
- 3/4 oz. Turbo Syrup
- 1/2 oz. Lime Juice
Directions
Place all ingredients in a pitcher and stir to mix well.
Rim rock glass with salt and pepper mixture.
Serve over ice.
Garnish with a cube of cold watermelon.
* To make watermelon juice, cut the meat of a watermelon from the rinds. Cut into cubes and deseed it. Place in a blender and puree until smooth. At this point you can use it just like it is or strain it if you prefer no pulp. It’s entirely up to you.
